Orders

Briarwood Leather is ran by a single crafter. With that in mind, all products may not be in stock at the time your order is placed. Please allow up to 2 weeks for processing time. Depending on the order volume, this window may vary. For larger items such as bags please allow up to 3 weeks.

Material

All products are made by hand without the use of any machinery or power tools. I strive to make products that can last a lifetime, all while using sustainable and ethically sourced materials. Every item is made using Vegetable Tanned leather (or cork!). Veg tan leather doesn’t contain any harsh chemicals which makes it the most biodegradable of all leathers. Due to the nature of leather, slight variations in color, grain and texture may occur. Leather will darken with age and use. Depending on the color of the leather, and how often the item is used, some products will darken quicker than others. This is known as patina.

PATINA

Leather is an organic material and will be affected by many different factors. The most common are, but not limited to, the natural oils from your hands, sun exposure and friction. Lighter leathers will show changes more drastically while darker leathers may be a bit more subtle. Dents, scratches and marks will smooth out over time as the leather comes into contact with oils from your skin. A sheen will develop from friction and the leather will soften as it gets used. In short, leather patina is a good thing. It’s unique to each person and fun to watch the process!

REFUNDS & EXCHANGES

All sales are final.

However, If a defect or failure does occur, a complete refund or exchange may be issued upon the return and inspection of the product(s), less shipping costs. This does not include damages that occur from misusing the product.

Because each piece of leather has its own unique character, colors and finishes may vary.

All belts are cut to fit and cannot be returned or replaced. Please reach out with any questions you may have before placing your order.
